• Is it sealed?
Yes. We use the latest food grade non-toxic water based penetrating sealer and wax to protect from stains and moisture. Periodic re-waxing is suggested.

• How should I clean it?
Your piece can be cleaned with mild soap and water. Do not use abrasives, bleaches or ammonia cleaners.

• Are countertops seamless?
Depending on the size of your piece seams are needed to allow for handling. All seams are planned to add to the design and look of natural stone. Seams are sealed with clear silicone or colour-matched grout.

• Will it crack?
Non-structural hairline cracks due to shrinkage are possible and are not considered a defect - they add to the uniqueness and character of your piece.

• Can I cut food on it or put hot pans on it?
No. While cutting and hot pans are unlikely to damage the concrete itself they will cause damage to the wax and sealer. We recommend the use of cutting boards and trivets, both of which can be integrated into the design.

• What are the colour choices?

• What are the finish choices?
Our products can be simply polished or ground to expose aggregates and then polished. Different degrees of grinding give contrasting looks and the level of polishing can be customer specified. We also offer a hand trowelled finish and range of stone textures.

• What is the sq. ft. cost?
The cost of our concrete products is based on the complexity of the mould, the mould making process, the inclusion of inlays, the colour and the desired finish, as opposed to size - as such there is not a set square foot price. Cost is determined on a case by case basis.

• Will you pour concrete in my house?
Generally speaking, no. We use the pre-cast method of countertop fabrication. Whenever possible we form, cast, cure, finish and seal your pieces in our workshop in Bermuda and deliver to the site for installation. The pre-cast method allows for greater design flexibility and enables us to achieve forms and finishes not possible with the cast in place technique.
